This Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon “Black Black” pays homage to OMEGA’s legacy of space exploration. It features a 44.25 mm case crafted from polished black ceramic. The brushed bezel is also made of black ceramic and features a laser-engraved tachymeter scale filled with black “Grand Feu” enamel.
The ceramic dial beneath the sapphire crystal is laser-sandblasted and features a small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock, a 60-minute and 12-hour counter at 3 o’clock, and a date window at 6 o’clock. All hands and beveled hour markers are blackened and filled with black Super-LumiNova (glowing green).
The OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9900, a self-winding movement visible through the case back, is finished with a matte blackened rotor, mainplate, and bridges, as well as black lacquered engravings. The watch is worn on a black rubber strap and features a moon surface pattern on the underside and a folding clasp made of ceramicized titanium.
