We are not a start-up. We come from Pforzheim.
Our Story
1981 we opened our first retail store for high-end collector’s watches as “Goldstadshop”. Founded by Hildegard und Bodo Breitsprecher. In the heart of Germany’s “Goldstadt”, home of German craftsmanship.
In the 90s we were one of the first watch dealers online. While others still mailed catalogues, we were already selling luxury watches on the internet.
1996 to 2004 we operated two boutiques in Miami Beach: on Lincoln Road and at Bayside Mall by the harbour. International experience you can’t google.
Since 2011 WATCHDEAL has been protected as a worldwide trademark. Since 1981 we are a KG with personal liability in Germany.

History of the Watchdeal KG
the Watchdeal KG was founded in 1984 as a stationary shop for high-quality collector's watches in the gold city of Pforzheim.
Already in the 90s Watchdeal went online in a future-oriented way and offered luxury watches on the internet.
In 1996 another store was opened in Miami Beach's famous pedestrian zone "Lincoln Road
and again 2 years later a branch in the shopping mall "Bayside" in the port of the cruise ships.
Our maxim today is to offer luxury watches online at a reasonable price, while still providing service, advice and security when buying watches.
The name WATCHDEAL was then registered worldwide as a brand name in the course of internationalization due to increasing online trade in 2011 and is therefore protected against misuse.

The model Reference 6270 Rolex Daytona has also developed very interestingly. We sold this watch in the mid 90s for DM 52.000.- and now it was sold in 2018 for
€ 868,000. auctioned off. - not a bad investment !!
This model had its own reference number (6269 with round diamonds in the lunette and 6270 with baguette diamonds). Only 8 pieces were produced in total in 1985 for the Sultan of Oman - Qaboos Bin Said of Oman. Here you can see our former sales prospectus:

In 2004 we returned home to Germany for family reasons and dedicated ourselves entirely to the sale of
