As part of the Five Deeps expedition, the Ultra Deep made history with its journey to the deepest point on earth in 2019. Following this world record dive, the watch has now been redesigned for a unique collection that will be offered for sale to the public. Developed under real underwater conditions during the development phase, the design is water-resistant to a depth of 6,000 meters (20,000 feet) and complies with ISO 6425:2018, the standard for saturation divers' watches.
This 45.5 mm model made of robust O-MEGASTEEL has a polished orange ceramic bezel with a diving scale made of liquid ceramic and Super-LumiNova. A lacquered dial with a color gradient from grey to black, four Arabic numerals in orange and hands and indices in 18 K white gold coated with white Super-LumiNova can be seen through the protruding, domed sapphire crystal.
The watch is held on the wrist by a rubber strap with orange lining and O-MEGASTEEL buckle, while the grade 5 titanium medallion on the case back is laser engraved with a sonar symbol and the iconic OMEGA seahorse in the center. The watch is powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8912.
