Zenith Chronomaster Sport - Brand new generation of a legendary sports chronograph

More than 50 years after the first presentation of the El Primero caliber, Zenith's automatic chronograph family reaches its peak in the Chronomaster Sport. Powered by the latest development stage of the famous high-frequency movement, it combines technical standards with an expressive new design. At the same time, brand-typical details such as the three different-colored totalizers are reminiscent of the rich history of the mechanical high-flyer.

World premiere: ceramic bezel with tenths of a second display

The high-gloss, black ceramic bezel of the Zenith Chronomaster Sport is the focal point of the new design: it is the first component of its kind to feature a tenths of a second scale, which enables short intervals to be recorded quickly and does justice to the beat rate of the El Primero caliber 3600. Composed of 311 components, it moves the central chronograph hand across the dial ten times per second thanks to its 5 Hertz rate and has a full 60 hours of power reserve - an increase of 10 hours over its sister model, the Zenith Chronomaster El Primero. The high-performance instrument sits comfortably on the wrist with a diameter of 41 millimeters. The luxurious stainless steel case creates a harmonious contrast to the dark bezel, scores with 100 meters of water resistance and can be combined with either a solid metal or ergonomic rubber strap including a triple folding clasp.

Three colors, one legend: The dial

The Zenith Chronomaster Sport continues its self-confident appearance on the dial, where twelve applied indices and linear hands ensure excellent legibility - even in the dark thanks to the luminescent coating. The highlight is the color-coded chronograph counters: the dark blue 60-second hand next to the three, together with the dark gray 60-minute counter above six and the light gray small second at nine o'clock, make the watch extremely recognizable. The functionality of the matt white or lacquered black dial is enhanced by a discreet date display between four and five o'clock.
