History of Zenith 

Thanks to innovative technology, the processing of luxurious materials and visually memorable dials, the luxury brand Zenith achieved world fame in the course of the twentieth century. The foundation of the traditional Swiss company goes back to the young visionary watchmaker Georges Favre-Jacot. All the pocket watches produced in his Manufacture Fabrique des Billodes carried movements developed by him. After the First World War, when he achieved a breakthrough with his work on his best movement to date and subsequently began producing wristwatches, he renamed his company Zenith. Since then, the brand has also been wearing the five-pointed star he designed, which symbolizes the highest point of the night sky over his native Switzerland. Since the late 1960s, Zenith watches have been icons among automatic chronographs, epitomizing traditional style with refined details.
