The 1238420 Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Date is extremely flat at around 7,8mm and is part of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Collection. There are different versions of the Ultra Thin with different complications. These watches are models that are particularly suitable for wearing with a suit due to their design and size.

The Ultra Thin Small Second is a simple version of the model range. It is mainly equipped with a small second at 6 o'clock and has no date display. With a size of 39 mm, the version fits most men's wrists as a men's watch. It is available in stainless steel and rose gold. With its Dauphin hands and linear indexes, its design is reminiscent of the typical look of the 1950s. The Ultra Thin Date also has a date window at 6 o'clock.

If you are looking for a conservative and flat watch, the Master Ultra Thin from Jaeger-LeCoultre is the watch for you. Thanks to its flat case, the Ultra Thin does not bump against the sleeve as an obstacle when wearing a shirt or jacket, but sinks under it. It brings together a number of different complications and combines some of them in one watch, such as the perpetual calendar and the moon phase.

As expected, the Master Ultra Thin Perpetual is at the top of the price hierarchy. A price of about € 24.870.- is not unusual for this watch in red gold 1302520.

The perpetual calendar also considerably increases the value of the ultra-thin. The comparatively widespread stainless steel version with black dial 1308470 costs € 16,000. More elaborate are the versions with cases in red gold 1302520 for around € 24,8700 and white gold 1303520 for around € 27,650.

The entry into the ultra-flat range 1548420 starts at around € 5.000.-. For this amount you will be offered an new stainless steel watch with date and secondk. At a price of around € 6.950.- you can buy a brand-new stainless steel Ultra-Thin with power reserve indicator. The reference number for the version with silver dial is: 1378420. For about € 7.450.- you can also buy the version with moon phase, which you can find in stainless steel with a silver dial under the reference number 1368420. The version in pink gold 1362520 costs about € 14.300.-

Ultra-thin Jaeger-LeCoultre moon-phase version with perpetual calendar

The version with perpetual calendar and moon phase is a little more sophisticatedly constructed than the Master Ultra Thin Moon. At the 6 o'clock position, it shows the moon phase and the date. Like the perpetual calendar version, it has dauphine hands and linear indices, and its dial is available in silver or black. Compared to the Grande, the case is slightly smaller, and with a diameter of 39 mm, it is versatile. The case materials are available in stainless steel or red gold.

On the Master Ultra Thin Perpetual, the three sub-dials show the day of the week, the month and the date. It also has a moon phase display. Unlike the moon phase version, however, this is located at the top of the dial, below the 12 o'clock position. The sub-dials of the Perpetual are arranged as tricompaxes. The case dimensions are the same as those of the Moon, namely 39 mm. In addition, there are some other parallels in the choices for these two models, such as a black or silver dial and a stainless steel or rose gold case.

The Réserve de Marche model has a power reserve indicator at 10 o'clock. There is also a hand date on a subsidiary dial at 2 o'clock and a small second hand at 6 o'clock. 
The ultra-thin series is water-resistant to 50 m (5 bar), making it a watch suitable for everyday use that could theoretically be worn while swimming - by no means a standard solution for examples of this elegant style. Jaeger-LeCoultre equips the series with automatic movements from its own production.
