Union Glashütte was founded in 1996 as part of Glashütter Uhrenbetrieb GmbH, which also includes Glashütte Original. However, the brand's origins go back more than 125 years: the watch wholesaler Johannes Dürrstein opened the Union watch factory in Glashütte in 1893. His ambition was to offer first-class and reasonably priced timepieces - a principle to which Union Glashütte has dedicated itself to this day.

Union Glashütte's current range comprises six collections

Belisar, Noramis, Viro, 1893. Each series has exceptional models. You will find not only watches with three hands, but also numerous models with practical complications. These include chronograph function, power reserve indicator, large date, moon phase and second time zone. The design of the wristwatches is functional and contemporary, but also includes classic models. 316L stainless steel is the ideal material for the cases, with only a few exceptions using gold. The watches impress with their noble character and high-quality workmanship.

In contrast to Glashütte Original, the watchmaking group acquired by the Swatch Group in 2000 relies throughout on the calibres of the movement manufacturer ETA, also part of the Swatch Group, for the manufacture of its watches. They are inexpensive, easy to service and have been tried and tested for decades. However, Union does not only install the plants. In its own production facilities in Glashütte, the individual plants are tested, assembled, finished and regulated. The automatic elevator system - the rotor - even originates entirely from our own production.

The manually wound caliber with 60 hours power reserve was developed in-house by Union and is produced by Glashütte Original. You will find this movement in the Johannes Dürrstein Edition of the 1893 Collection.

With the Belisar collection, Union Glashütte presents the most varied series

It is primarily aimed at the discerning man who prefers a type of watch that suits both his business outfit and his casual casual leisure look.

The most striking feature of this series are the screwed case flanks. Depending on the model, these are made of stainless steel, rubber or red gold. The dial design ranges from classic to contemporary and from cool to classic craftsmanship. The range of variations is also reflected in the complications. You can choose between different chronographs, watches with power reserve display, second time zone or moon phase.

The Noramis collection was inspired by the beauty of the 50s and 60s

The curved scale and the used numbers and indexes are characteristic for this series. Meaningful complications such as large date, chronograph function or power reserve indicator complete the elegant exterior. The collection also includes one of the rare Union watches with an 18-carat pink gold case.
Regulators, gold watches and diamond-studded ladies' watches
Union Glashütte's 1893 collection honours the company's beginnings. The watches are of a very classic design and use stylistic elements of historical pocket watches, such as the railway minute watch. The Johannes Dürrstein Edition, developed in honour of the company founder, deserves special mention. Equipped with the UNG 56.01, which gives the watch a date, a small second and a power reserve indicator.

The Viro model consists of an uncomplicated three-hand model and a chronograph. In any case, Union has reduced the design to the most important thing and given the stainless steel watches a noble, imperishable look. Union offers the three-handed model in a 34 mm ladies' version and a 41 mm men's version.
The Seris and Sirona collections are designed to meet the needs of women. With diameters of 36 mm and 32 mm respectively, they are perfect for fine wrists and are particularly feminine. Diamonds on the dial and bezel turn the watches into real treasures. The difference is that the watches in the Seris collection have a small second, whereas the Sirona is a typical three-hand watch with a central second hand. From this selection you will find plain stainless steel watches starting at approx.
