Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Jumbo Ref 5402ST
B-Series, complete with box and papers.
Very well preserved original Royal Oak from the rare series B, in which only about 1000 watches were produced.
The legendary design by Gerald Genta, who also designed the Patek Nautilus and Vacheron 222
is still unsurpassed in its timelessness.
The watch offered here is accompanied by the original box, which is also very rare, and the old instruction manual, warranty card and proof of purchase.
The date on the warranty card and the purchase receipt was overwritten from 1972 to 1977 for reasons that are no longer comprehensible.
Therefore, I have priced the item as if these documents were no longer included.
There is also a revision receipt from 1991 for DM 1,900. Dial (Tritium), hands, crown, gaskets etc. replaced.
The strap is not worn out although it is still the original strap with the "Audemars Piguet" signature written on it.
