M1-41-03-MB - The functionality and design of the S.A.R. Rescue Timer was significantly influenced by the captains of the rescue fleet of the German Society for the Rescue of Castaways (DGzRS). This practical orientation resulted in an extremely robust watch. The Rescue Timer of the Sea Rescue Service meets all requirements: It has a resistant stainless steel case with a rubber strap and folding clasp waterproof to 100 bar, with a 4 millimetre thick sapphire glass. Since its development, the S.A.R. Rescue Timer has been subjected to endurance testing on 56 rescue cruisers.
