The new Senator Excellence Perpetual Calendar is presented in an understated 42 mm diameter stainless steel case and its timeless elegance reflects the pure essence of the Glashütte Original manufactory. The perfectly polished and satin-finished surfaces elegantly reflect the light, while the narrow bezel allows an optimal view of the fine dial. The timepiece is also available with either a blue synthetic strap or a stainless steel bracelet.
The perpetual calendar is one of the most sought-after complications in the art of watchmaking. The complex function also takes into account the different lengths of the months and even leap years. It is easy to operate, making it user-friendly and contemporary. Discrete correctors on the case make it easy to adjust the day of the week, month and moon phase. The summation corrector allows simple switching of all functions with a single operation.
The new version of the classic is now powered by the manufacture calibre 36-12 - an extensively refined version of the well-known movement from Glashütte. 
The skeletonised rotor allows the finishes on the movement to be seen particularly clearly. The hand-engraved balance cock is also remarkable.

The Glashütte Original Senator Excellence is regulated in 6 positions and subjected to a long-term test. The results are documented for the customer in the large rate chart. The test certificate at the end of the 24-day endurance test confirms that the watches can rightly bear the Excellence Seal.
