History of Zenith 

Thanks to innovative technology, the processing of luxurious materials and visually memorable dials, the luxury brand Zenith achieved worldwide fame during the twentieth century. The foundation of the traditional Swiss company goes back to the young visionary watchmaker Georges Favre-Jacot. All pocket watches manufactured in his Fabrique des Billodes factory bore movements developed by him. When he achieved a breakthrough after the First World War with his work on his best movement to date and subsequently began producing wristwatches, he renamed his company Zenith. Since then, the brand has also borne the five-pointed star he designed to symbolize the highest point of the night sky above his native Switzerland. Since the late sixties, Zenith watches have been considered icons among automatic chronographs and epitomize traditional style with refined details.
