ter '57 is a modern tribute to the original from 1957—the first chronograph with a tachymeter scale on the bezel. This model, featuring a burgundy dial, is one of the most striking in the current collection.
The 40mm stainless steel case, featuring a brushed bezel and black tachymeter scale, is fitted with a box-shaped sapphire crystal and a flat sapphire crystal caseback engraved with “Speedmaster ’57.” The burgundy dial features rhodium-plated hour markers and broad-arrow hands, all coated with Super-LumiNova. At 6 o’clock is a date window; at 9 o’clock, a sub-dial for the small seconds; and at 3 o’clock, a sub-dial with 12-hour and 60-minute chronograph counters.
Powered by the hand-wound Caliber 9906—Co-Axial Master Chronometer, anti-magnetic up to 15,000 gauss, 60-hour power reserve—visible through the case back. It comes with a classic stainless steel bracelet featuring polished and brushed links and a patented comfort adjustment system.
Dial color: Bordeaux / dark red, water-resistant to 5 ATM, steel bracelet—the perfect blend of vintage spirit and state-of-the-art Omega technology.
