The Portugieser Chronograph is one of IWC Schaffhausen's most iconic models. With its compact 41-millimeter diameter, it fits almost any wrist. However, the delicate bezel creates the impression of a significantly larger watch. The clean, functional dial features applied Arabic numerals and slender feuille hands. The characteristic rehaut, printed with a quarter-second scale, not only allows for precise reading of elapsed time but also recalls the Portugieser's origins as a nautical precision instrument for the wrist. This model features an 18-karat rose gold case, a silver-plated dial, and gold hands and appliques. It is worn on a brown alligator leather strap. Inside the sporty yet elegant chronograph beats the IWC-manufactured caliber 69355. The robust and precise chronograph movement, with its classic column-wheel design, can be viewed through a sapphire crystal case back.
