Ref. IW391407 - The Portofino family was introduced in 1984 and has since established itself as one of IWC Schaffhausen's most popular collections. The secret to its enduring success lies in its understated, classically elegant design. This is evident in the minimalist round case with straight lugs, the applied indices and Roman numerals, and the slender feuille hands. Chronographs have been a mainstay of the collection for many years, lending it a subtle, sporty touch. The Portofino Chronograph 39 impresses with a slightly more compact case diameter of 39 millimeters and the characteristic pushers. This model features a stainless steel case and a silver-plated dial. The blue hands and appliques complement the blue strap made of fine alligator leather. The minute counter at 12 o'clock and the small seconds at 6 o'clock ensure a particularly balanced dial layout.
