Ref. IW388109 - The Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41 in bronze is the latest addition to the 41-millimeter Pilot's Chronograph collection. It features a bronze case, pushers, and crown, a blue dial with subdued beige printing, and gold-plated hands. The bronze used by IWC contains aluminum and iron in addition to copper. This special composition makes the alloy approximately 50 percent harder than conventional bronze. An important additional property is the material's excellent biocompatibility.
Furthermore, bronze develops a unique patina over time, giving each timepiece its own character and appearance. The chronograph is powered by the IWC-manufactured caliber 69385. This chronograph movement enables stop-time measurements of up to 12 hours and was developed with a focus on robustness, reliability, and precision. The chronograph function is controlled via a column wheel. A bidirectional pawl winding system builds up a power reserve of up to 46 hours in the mainspring barrel. The chronograph comes with a blue textile strap and features IWC's EasX-CHANGE® system. This allows the wearer to change the strap with the push of a button and without any additional tools.
