Ref. IW344205 - The IWC perpetual calendar, developed by Kurt Klaus in the 1980s, automatically recognizes the different lengths of the months and leap years and can be easily set via the crown. Now, for the first time, this complication has been integrated into a manufacture movement from the Calibre 82 family. The Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 42 displays the date, month, and day of the week on three subdials at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. It also features moon phase and leap year indicators. The Pellaton winding system of the IWC manufacture Calibre 82650, equipped with ceramic components, provides a 60-hour power reserve. The 42-millimeter watch features an 18-karat red gold case, a blue dial, gold-plated hands, and 18-karat gold appliques. This timelessly elegant Portugieser watch is worn on a brown alligator leather strap by Santoni.
