Mühle Glashütte S.A.R. Rescue-Timer – Robust. Precise. Ready for Action.
The Mühle Glashütte S.A.R. Rescue-Timer is a professional duty watch developed in close collaboration with the captains of the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS). These experienced captains of the sea rescue cruisers know the importance of absolute reliability, maximum legibility, and extreme robustness – and this timepiece embodies precisely these qualities.
The 42 mm stainless steel case of the Mühle Glashütte S.A.R. Rescue-Timer is pressure-resistant to 100 bar, making it suitable for the toughest operations underwater and on deck. A specially rounded rubber bezel protects the watch from impacts and prevents injuries from sharp edges – an essential detail in rescue operations. The anti-reflective sapphire crystal is 4 mm thick, three times thicker than standard crystals, and features an internally ground date magnifier for perfect readability even in poor visibility.
The black dial of the Mühle Glashütte S.A.R. Rescue-Timer is designed for optimal legibility. Large hands and indices are coated with Super-LumiNova to ensure excellent visibility day and night. A screw-down crown further enhances durability and protects the precise movement.
Inside, the proven automatic movement SW 200-1, in the Mühle version, powers the watch. It features the patented woodpecker neck regulator for exceptional shock resistance, a stop-seconds function, and a quick-set date. With a power reserve of up to 41 hours, the Mühle Glashütte S.A.R. Rescue-Timer remains reliable even when not in use.
The stainless steel/rubber strap with a robust folding clasp combines durability with exceptional comfort – ideal for extended use, outdoor adventures, or everyday wear.
