Formula 1 by Tag Heuer is one of the brands newer collections boasting impressive aspects of collections before such as the Aquaracer, whilst paying homage to many famous motor racing competitions around the world.
This particular model specifically celebrates Tag Heuer’s relationship with motor racing and continues its line of special edition Red Bull and Aston Martin watches. Fans of Red Bull will appreciate the beautiful vivid blue dial which is even more stunning in person.
Hints of red are subtly incorporated on the dial and bezel which is unidirectional. The dial also incorporates a three-dial chronograph, perfect for use at racing events timing 1/10th second, seconds and minutes using the stainless-steel push buttons at either side of the crown.
Stainless steel is the predominant material throughout the timepiece and forms the 43mm case, crown and bracelet which is a 3-bar style and is adjustable to all wrist sizes. The clasp is a deployment type and will only release when push buttons on either side are pushed simultaneously.
A luminova coating is applied to the hands and hour markers which lets out a beautiful glow in dark light settings, allowing the dial to be viewed at any time of day effortlessly. Securing the dial is a layer of sapphire crystal glass which is highly scratch resistant.
