Chopard is expanding its Mille Miglia collection with a new design for the Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph. The 40.5 mm case is crafted in Lucent Steel™, an exclusive Chopard alloy with a recycled content of at least 80 percent. It is combined with a dial inspired by the black and white checkered flag that is used to wave off winners in motorsport. As a symbol of this fighting spirit, the dial bears the name “La Gara”, the Italian word for “race”. The box-shaped watch glass stretches across it, offering an optimum view of the dial and the best possible readability. The model is equipped with a chronograph movement whose precision is confirmed by the chronometer certificate. Competition and community spirit, energy and dynamism, speed and style - these are the words that characterize both the famous Italian vintage car race 1000 Miglia and, since 1988, the watches in Chopard's Mille Miglia collection.
