Although the term NOMOS has been around for over 100 years, it was long abandoned. After an extremely positive start, the company was in the midst of an economic catastrophe and had to be closed. The name was only picked up again by Roland Schwertner in 1990, with such great results that the company created more than 70 jobs in Glashütte. On average, the young staff is 34 years old, and the designs of the models are equally classic and timeless as they are contemporary and cutting-edge. The individual watches are made with the company's own movements. The Orion collection from NOMOS Glashütte is equipped with the NOMOS 1T movement with manual winding and impresses with its visual elegance.

The dials are exclusively equipped with gold-plated or silvered indices, with the exception of the date display, which some Orion models have, and are presented in white, anthracite and rosé.
