On April 1, 1935, LONGINES registered the Pilot Majetek model with the International Bureau of Industrial Property in Bern, Switzerland. Originally designed for aviators, the timepiece gradually won over a wider audience looking for a reliable, robust and precise watch. Almost a century later, the brand has revived this unique pilot's watch with completely revised technical and ergonomic features. The bidirectional rotating fluted bezel with internal “start time display”, mounted on a cushion-shaped case, represents a major technical challenge and is reminiscent of the 1935 model that inspired it. These chronometer-certified watches are powered by an exclusive LONGINES caliber equipped with a silicon balance spring and resistant to magnetic fields.
