The Averin chronograph convinces with its rough edges. From right. Its cushion-shaped 41 x 41 mm stainless steel case not only has rarity value, but also fits comfortably on the wrist. Anti-reflective sapphire crystal, domed on both sides, follows the curves beautifully. This character chronograph comes with a black leather strap with red underside, hole embossing and double folding clasp. 
Not only does the square shape distinguish this particular collection, but the dial has a lot to offer as well. On the right hand, the date display can be found on a silver background, the three hands point to the date on three different levels, with arms of different lengths. On the left is the day of the week and month display, a 24 hour display with day and night indicators, the moon phase and chronograph display, and of course the small seconds. 
Although this dial gives you so much information, it's still structured so that the individual data doesn't get lost. On top of this multitude of functions, the Union Averin is also water resistant up to 10 bar. 
As you can already imagine with this many functions, the inner workings of the Averin are a true marvel. Powered by an automatic caliber with anti-magnetic silicon hairspring. The 60-hour power reserve and stop-seconds function are other details that are very useful in everyday life. 
The sapphire crystal caseback offers a view of the beautiful movement.

Union Glashütte was founded in 1996 as part of Glashütter Uhrenbetrieb GmbH, which also includes Glashütte Original. However, the origins of the brand go back more than 125 years: watch wholesaler Johannes Dürrstein opened the Union watch factory in Glashütte in 1893. His ambition was to offer first-class and affordable timepieces - a principle to which Union Glashütte is still committed today.
