The integrated bracelet also includes a redesigned case - and of course with the "unique & different" features typical of Hublot.

Hublot - unusual materials as a trademark

The mix of materials already mentioned several times is one of the main characteristics of Hublot watches. The list of materials used is long - and gives hope for more original material ideas in the future: Aluminum, concrete, denim, diamonds, precious stones, stainless steel, grass, hublonium (a compound of aluminum, magnesium and manganese), carbon, rubber, ceramics, Kevlar, leather, linen, magic gold, nomex, osmium, platinum, red gold, lace, tobacco, tantalum, texalium, titanium, tungsten and zirconium.

History of Hublot

Hublot is a comparatively young brand. Founded in 1980 by Carlo Crocco, Hublot watches were the first watches with rubber bracelets. The starting model featured a hinged cover on the dial side. This feature is also said to have provided the inspiration for the company name - "porthole". The Big Bang model line was presented for the first time in 2005. In 2007, Hublot opened its first boutique in Paris. Since 2008, the brand belongs to the luxury goods group LVMH.

The 451.EX.5123.EX Hublot Big Bang Integral Blue Ceramic 42mm is made of high-tech ceramic for € 18,150.
This is a zirconium-based material that is exceptionally resistant and virtually scratch-proof (except by diamonds), as it is produced under very high temperatures in the sintering mold. Made of the same material but in gray, the 451.FX.6923.FX Hublot Big Bang Integral Grey Ceramic 42mm is also available for € 18,150.
