ROLEX GMT Pepsi
Probably one of Rolex's most sought-after sports models.
Reference: 16710 with blue/red bezel, so-called "Pepsi."
Absolutely top condition, the watch looks like new.
What's special about this watch is the warranty certificate, which "actually" doesn't belong to it, as well as an explanatory letter from Rolex (see image).
So you can see that even Rolex, or rather its authorized dealers, make mistakes.
What happened?
At the authorized dealer, the outer sticker of a GMT model, which was probably also in stock, was affixed to the warranty certificate.
The last two digits of this model are four places lower than the stamped number, namely ...18 instead of ...22.
The watch's number ends in 18, so the adhesive can't simply be removed; the perforation belongs to the other watch.
These circumstances are confirmed in the letter from Rolex Cologne.
...and now have fun making your decision. I personally find it quite interesting and definitely better than no certificate at all.

Dear Mr. ..... We will be happy to get back to you regarding your inquiry. After reviewing the images, we can inform you that, as you have already noticed, the sticker on the outside of the warranty card and the number punched into the warranty card are different. In this case, it can be assumed that the sticker may have been incorrectly assigned. Based on the two serial numbers, we can confirm that both numbers were assigned to a Rolex model, Ref. 16710. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any clarification, as the watches were not sold through our local branch, and the mix-up may have occurred at the retailer, or the wrong sticker may have been affixed to the warranty card. We nevertheless hope we have been able to help you, even though we cannot fully resolve the matter. Best regards - Best Regards - Best Regards Service
