Oris introduces the Royal Flying Doctor Service Limited Edition and honors the important work of the institution of the same name in Australia. The RFDS provides aeromedical first aid and medical assistance and is being specially honoured for its outstanding achievements with the new Oris timepiece, limited to 2,000 pieces. It all began with the first flight in 1928 - today the RFDS is the world's largest provider of aeromedical services. With a fleet of 61 aircraft, 21 aeromedical bases and five remote primary care facilities, the RFDS serves more than 14,000 hospitals in Australia's communities each year.
