The Portuguese chronograph is one of the most symbolic models from IWC Schaffhausen. With its diameter of 41 millimetres, it fits on almost every wrist. The finely crafted bezel gives the impression of wearing a much larger watch. The clear, functional dial features applied Arabic numerals and slim feuille hands. The characteristic imprint with a quarter-second scale not only allows the stop time to be read accurately, but also recalls the origins of the Portuguese as a precision maritime instrument for the wrist. The sporty, elegant interior of the chronograph houses the IWC Manufacture Calibre 69355, a solid and precise chronograph movement with a classic column-wheel design, visible through a sapphire crystal back.
